This Web site is intended to be a celebration of the life and career of Purser Uli Derickson, whose courage and strength of character enabled her to mollify the hijackers of Flight 847 and protect all but one of her 145 passengers. This site contains photos, a biographical sketch, a list of honors and awards, soundbytes, a moment by moment account of the hijacking, and a collection of vintage magazine and newspaper articles.
